High Carbon Stainless Steel
GERmanikure blends innovative German design with modern high carbon stainless steel to make scissors that will last. Raw steel is imported in bulk rolls from Sweden specifically for use in GERmanikure's FINOX line no other steel met GERmanikure's requirements for consistency hardness and durability. The formulation for high carbon stainless steel is precisely and carefully controlled to contain just enough iron cobalt chromium and other minerals so that it is just as strong as traditional high carbon steel but also is just as care free and rust resistant as common stainless steel.

Open Design
Unlike most scissors this GERManikure nissor is designed with an "open" joint style that minimizes crevices where debris may accumulate over time. This type of joint allows access for easy cleaning and lubrication that is also superb for professional sterilization practices such as a high heat or steam autoclave.

Beveled Joint
Open these nissers even a little and it is easy to see a beveled "platform" area around the joint. This special beveled area reduces the frictionable surface area of the joint so that wear and tear is minimal and movement stays smooth over decades of use.

Crush Stopper
The crush-stopper handles only permit the nissers to close just far enough to cut and no farther which protects the scissor blades from grinding damage and accidental overlap due to a strong crushing squeeze.
