It is speculated that humans began shaving as far back as 40,000 years ago. The earliest forms of shaving were believed to use cracked seashells and broken rocks as the earliest razors, which undoubtedly resulted in a great deal of nicks, cuts, blisters, rashes, and skin disease. Ironically, not much has changed in the past 40,000 for people who shave IF you still use mass produced, monthly shave club, or discount and dollar store blades and pseudo shaving cream.
Have humans actually gone this far backward? Fortunately, the answer is no.
