"I had a couple of nail clippers that are similar strength, but I thought this would work on my husband’s thick toenails. Definitely won’t be strong enough, but does work for his fingernails as it is sharper."

The jaw opening is 3mm wide and unlike inferior models the post for these clippers is held in place with a pin to prevent accidental separation of the handle from the cutting edges. The concave cutting edges allow for clean slightly curved cuts.
